Coaches Police Check Reminder

Attention Club Secretaries,

My records show that there are still coaches within the Association that have not yet complied with their obligation to obtain a police clearance. I will again remind you that the police checks are not voluntary. They are mandatory & form part of a coaches registration.
I have been directed by EDJSA general Secretary, Mr John Allen, to inform you that if I do not receive outstanding applications before the next Council of Clubs meeting (at the end of June) that those coaches will no longer be allowed to coach until they have fulfilled their obligations.
Police checks need to be renewed every three years. If you have any coaches that have current police checks issued prior to 2010 you may email their names & confirmation that you have sighted the clearances to me prior to the Council of Clubs meeting. This will suffice.
