The following age groups play on these pitches:
U/6 - U/8 play on the mini pitch,
U/9 - Colts play on the full size pitch.
The number of players in each team:
U/6 - U/8 have 8 field players and 4 interchange players,
U/9 - Colts have 11 field players and 4 interchange players.
Competition for points:
U/6 - U/9 play non-competitive soccer, no points or league tables,
U/10 - Colts play for points and have league tables including goal difference.
U/6 - U/8 no knock-out competition,
U/9 - Colts play in the Challenge Cup, one cup for each age group.
Duration of games:
U/6 - U/10 play 20 minute each half,
U/11 - U/12 play 25 minute each half,
U/13 play 30 minute each half,
U/14 play 35 minute each half,
U/15 - Colts play 40 minute each half.
Kick off times:
U/6 12:00 Saturday,
U/7 11:00 Saturday,
U/8 10:00 Saturday,
U/9 9:00 Saturday,
U/10 10:00 Saturday,
U/11 11:00 Saturday,
U/12 12:15 Saturday,
U/13 13:30 Saturday,
U/14 8:45 Sunday,
U/15 8:45 or 10:30 Sunday,
Colts 10:30 Sunday.
Where to stand whilst spectating?
All spectators must stand behind a clearly marked spectator line along the length
of the pitch.
No spectators are permitted to stand behind the goal line.
Spectators and Referees:
No person is allowed to approach the referee before, during or after the match.
Any comments on refereeing decisions may be considered dissent by referees, club
officials or E&DJSA Executive punishable by fines or bans.
Any complaints about referees, teams, coaches or club officials must be put in writing
and forwarded to your club.
All players must wear shorts, foot ware and shin-pads fully covered by socks. Goalkeepers
are allowed to wear long track suit pants or goal-keeping trousers.
Shirts or strips are normally provided by the club and can be tucked into the shorts
or worn outside the shorts.
Players cannot wear jewellery of any kind with the exception of medic alert information.
This ban includes watches, rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. See the FIFA
Australian Soccer Association's national jewellery policy.
Ground Marshals are provided by the clubs and visiting teams to help spectators with
the kinds of information listed in this document and to help referees in these same
types of issues.
Ground Marshals can also assist the referee with many off-field issues.
All spectators must obey the directions from Ground Marshals and referees as well
as club officials and E&DJSA Executive members who shall identify themselves.
Spectacle Wearing Players:
E&DJSA players are allowed to wear spectacles if required, please check out our Policy

There was one player within E&DJSA a few years ago who wore those sports specific
glasses, the type, one piece held on the head by elastic strap, the one's the American
basket-ballers and other sports persons wear. So we've talked to the player's parents
who have provided us with the following pricing and availability details.-
Name of the Glasses : Rec Specs;
Basic Price : Around $250.00 for the frames (remember to add the cost of the lenses);
Where to get them : Most reputable optometrists
Consumption of alcohol:
The consumption of alcohol is not permitted on the sidelines of any training session,
carnival or game sanctioned by E&DJSA. Alcohol can only be consumed inside a fully
licensed club room. Please be aware that all E&DJSA Club training's and practice
game activities are sanctioned by E&DJSA.
